What began as a simple obedience to God’s call has grown into a thriving community of faith, hope, and freedom. Our journey is rooted in a prophetic mandate to proclaim and demonstrate the liberating power of Christ.
Sometime in March 2001, we began as a C.A.C. Rescue Camp Church, initially sited at 119, Akute–Ijoko Road, Yewande Junction, Giwa Oke-Aro, Ogun State. In 2004, we left the C.A.C. fold and changed the name of the church we had earlier formed to Rescue Global Ministries. We immediately began the process of registering the name with the Corporate Affairs Commission (C.A.C). However, due to a lack of funds, we could not proceed with the registration for a period of five years.
By 2009, when we returned to complete the registration, we were informed that the name had been taken by another organization. After much prayerful deliberation, we settled for a new name—Christ the King Rescue Global Ministry (a.k.a. Rescue Camp)—the name we now bear.
CHRIST is the Owner, Lord, and King of this commission. The word RESCUE is not just an appellation; it is our divine mandate. Over the years, countless individuals have been rescued from various forms of bondage, spiritual oppression, and life crises through this ministry.
- Our Growth and People
We began with 16 members, of which 9 were from the household of the visioner. Today, we are in our thousands.
Several committed ministers contributed to our growth at different stages, including:

All of them played vital roles before moving on. Many are doing great exploits in their current assignments. We particularly remember Evangelist Ogunmodeji Jenyo, who has since slept in the Lord years after his departure from this ministry. Their contributions and sacrifices are deeply appreciated.
Leadership and Structure
God has graciously blessed this church with exceptional leadership. Our ministerial and management teams, the Council of Ministers, Board of Elders, and Board of Deacons and Deaconesses all form the Church Governing Council, providing both spiritual and administrative oversight. Their commitment remains unmatched and deeply honored.
From just 4 ministers in 2001, we now have over 20 ministers, alongside many trained workers and leaders who continue to expand the vision.
We now operate our own training institution, the Rescue Institute of Biblical Ministries (RIOBIM), committed to equipping ministers and freedom agents across the globe.

Prophet Onaolapo Gabriel Olusola is a trained marketing and sales management professional who answered the call into full-time ministry in 1990. A biblical and theological scholar, he is a gifted teacher, charismatic preacher, and sought-after conference speaker known for his prophetic grace and insightful teachings.
His divine mandate is FREEDOM, earning him the title Apostle of Freedom. He is also an accomplished author, with numerous impactful books to his name.
He is married to Pastor Florence Taiwo Adenike, a school proprietress and fellow minister. Their union of 28 years is blessed with four children.
Pastor Chris Oakhena is the Vice President of Christ The King Rescue Global Ministry, overseeing the Missions Office in alignment with God’s kingdom advancement.
He is widely known for his teachings on faith and deliverance, drawing practical lessons from the Bible for everyday life, family, business, and personal growth. His messages are transformational, with impact across generations and spheres of life.
Ordained by Prophet Gabriel Onaolapo, he continues to inspire many through sound doctrine. He is married to Pastor Iyabo Oakhena, a gifted Bible teacher, and together they are blessed with three children excelling in their fields.
Pastor Kuforiji John is a vibrant teacher of God’s Word, known for his depth, clarity, and life-transforming messages.
He currently serves as the Vice President of Christ The King Rescue Global Ministry, where he oversees the Administrative Office, ensuring smooth operations in line with the ministry’s vision.
A man of excellence and wisdom, he supports the church’s leadership while equipping believers for spiritual growth, faith, and purposeful living.
He is married to Deaconess Rebecca Kuforiji, and they are blessed with four children excelling spiritually and professionally.
